Though right on the water, this beautiful home had NO smell of must or mold--it was airy and cool--with screened windows and ceiling fans in every room. We slept like babes, and woke to the sounds of the loons in the morning. Sunsets REALLY were spectacular from the window, the patio, or the dock! We even used the fire pit (for hotdogs and marshmallows) and the grill, on two different nights. This is the perfect place for a family retreat, or just a group of friends who like life on the lake!" You have the ability to escape the tourist madness and retreat to serenity. The kayaks were a perfect way to watch sunset from the water (and we saw a bald eagle perching on a tree above us ). We cooked breakfast in the fully stocked kitchen and sat by the fire pit most nights. A perfect getaway. We will be back to explore more of this beautiful area!"
