Birdsacre

Stanwood Homestead Museum and bird sanctuary. A peaceful spot to walk the trails and observe local wildlife and birds in their natural habitat.


Crabtree Neck Preserve

(Dog Friendly) Carters Beach, Old Pond Railroad trails, Ball Field Preserve, Ice Pond Preserve.


Indian Point Trail

Off Water Street (Route 230S), about 1 mile south of Main St in Ellsworth. Look for Tinker Farm Way and the FBC preserve sign on the right.


A short .75-mile out-and-back trail with scenic views of downtown Ellsworth and the Union River. Great for a quick hike or picnic. Watch for river otters! Allow about 30 minutes. (Dog Friendly)
