This two floor home (whole house) is spacious and open with vaulted ceilings and an industrial and wood decor. It is private and dog friendly in the heart of SW Harbor. The home is located on the "quiet side" of Mt. Desert Island, and is right next to Acadia National Park! You are within minutes of restaurants, trails, and all of the amenities. Your ONE dog is allowed with pre-approval, a pet fee, and pet agreement.
This 2 story home has a Queen sized bed, desk,and tons of closet space in the loft/bedroom. There is a desk for work, and a loveseat for reading or contemplating the days events. There is a window AC unit for those warmer days on Mt Desert Island.
The first level has a clean and spacious bathroom with a walk in shower and washer/dryer.
Kitchen: Gas stove and oven, full sized fridge, pots, pans, drip coffee maker, microwave, dishes, silverware.
Living room: WIFI, Smart TV, and a heat for cooler nights. The sofa pulls out to a full sized bed.
There is outdoor seating on a spacious and breezy deck, with a grill for additional cooking. You will enjoy the private yard area to play fetch with your 1 pup, and a gorgeous deck to grill those steak and lobster dinners. Your experience here is whatever you want. Southwest Harbor is central to all of the local amenities including Acadia National Park! Approximately 2 miles to Acadia National Park, and 10 miles to Bar Harbor. The property is close to trails, beach, restaurants and town within a 5 minute walk. There are lobster pounds, whale watches, kayaking tours, boat trips, museums, shopping, golfing, restaurants, ice cream, bars, laundry mat, antiquing, and more! Watch the sunrise AND sunset from the top of Cadillac mountain. There are 244 plus trails in the area that range from easy to difficult.
Your dog must be preapproved. There is a pet agreement and pet fee of $150 plus lodging tax for your pup.

Charming cabin for our trip! Very close to Southwest Harbor. Clean and private. Susan was very responsive and resolved an issue quickly.
The house was in a great location.
Comfy place on the quiet side of the island. Spiral steps were a bit trickier than expected but are as presented in the listing. Everything was tidy and the washer/dryer were a welcome amenity that helped with the packing process. Susan was promptly available when I did need her which was only once but was much appreciated.
