This gorgeous property offers sunsets, water views, and waterfront activities nearby. It is a family hideaway from the world with everything you need right here. Wake up to the deer on the lawn, listen to the loons sing, cook s'mores in the firepit by the stars. It is quiet, clean, well stocked, yet close to activities if you do want to leave this peaceful oasis. This 2 Bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage is beautifully furnished indoors and outdoors. It has ample space to relax and enjoy a getaway with all the comforts and conveniences of home.
MAIN FLOOR:The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, mixers, blender, baking supplies and more. There is a beautiful propane range, large refrigerator, and dishwasher with tons of space on the granite counters.
The master bedroom has a king sized bed, 2 full closets, AC, water view and an ensuite full bathroom with a walk in shower.
DOWNSTAIRS: The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed, full bathroom and sitting room with another daybed that will sleep two (two twin beds). There is a full sized washer and dryer and plenty of storage!
There is also a propane grill and outdoor seating to enjoy the summer feasts. The outdoor deck has a gorgeous water and sunset view, and is a great place to relax under the awning. This open and sunny home has plenty of room to spread out and watch TV, watch the sunset, or head outside to sunbathe! This home is close to everything, for kayaking, shopping, hiking and restaurants.
Rent kayaks for your stay, and put them in the water within a mile from the house. Walk along the water, past the horse farm for a little exercise and fresh air.
Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park are approximately 15 miles away.
Schoodic Point, and downeast Maine are approximately 18 miles.
Ellsworth is just 3 miles away with shopping, restaurants, Hannafords and Shaws grocery store, LL Bean Outlet, Renys, Walmart and more.
There is hiking, swimming, antiquing, and more in the area with plenty of maps and brochures at the house.

Susan's house was absolutely incredible. very private and quiet space, yet super accessible and convenient to restaurants, attractions, even Wal-Mart, just a short drive to Acadia! Outside was comfortable and peaceful, with plenty of room to roam. Inside felt like home walking through the front door. Plenty of room to stretch out and get comfortable, without any wasted space. The kitchen was more than accommodating for culinary enthusiasts. There was a beautiful view from the master bedroom, kitchen, dining area and living room, not to mention the porch. Susan was very helpful with recommendations and local information, and her response time was impeccable. I would suggest this home to everyone from a honeymoon retreat, to a full family vacation. We hope to stay here again in years to come!
House was very spacious, had everything needed to cook a meal. Loved the view of the bay and how serene and quiet it was. Loved the outdoor space where I got to enjoy the sunsets every evening. Not too far from bar harbor and Acadia and actually preferred coming back to a more peaceful place after a day of venturing. Everything felt clean including the linens and towels. The house was quiet at night so it was easy to get rest. One negative would be the queen bed downstairs is very hard and was not very comfortable for my daughter. Overall we enjoyed the space and would definitely rebook if in the area.
The house was quiet and situated a convenient short drive from Acadia and town but in a serene location away from the hubbub. It had everything we needed to have a great vacation, cook our own breakfast, and relax outside on the gorgeous patio after (and before) a long day of hiking or exploring the cute towns of coastal Maine. I would highly recommend this home for other families.
